Train for an Athletic Body Type

The athletic body type, in my opinion, is the ideal and most practical body type to have.   Most athletes (I will expand on this later) are on average fast, strong, have high endurance, and are very agile.   So what does being athletic or having an athletic body type have to do with sustainable living?  All of the athletic characteristics above are very important functional traits for survival in biological terms.  The body type of an athlete is a result of his/hers training and diet (well…also genetics but you get the idea).  In order to maintain their fitness they have to train hard with certain techniques and have a good balanced healthy diet.

Not only will you be more functionally fit when you train for an athletic body type, I think most consider athletic bodies to be the most attractive.  This might sound shallow to some but I really believe its important to feel and look good.
