Mornings are so quiet and peaceful these days.
The snow on the ground muffles the sounds of the surrounding hills
as the sun casts its rays upon the frozen land.
This is the austere beauty of winter.
But, as always, change is coming.
Raising temperatures and heavy rains have the potential for transforming
this winter wonderland to something quite different.
