“The ultimate goal of farming is not the growing of crops, but the cultivation and perfection of human beings.”

Time With The Littles

We spent our weekend with these two:

enjoying days that looked like this:

We filled our time with raspberry picking and blueberry picking and
(as well as eating!)
pasture cleaning...

This little man is happiest when he is driving...
hauling his trucks around on his gator.

It was great to have help in the garden.
We learned the importance of pruning one's tomato vines.

We picked every day-lily that was open in the pasture.

Oh, so gentle with the worms...

Many miles were logged on the "go-go"...
Those were literally the first and last words out of Easton's mouth
each morning and each bedtime.
"I ride Go-go!"

We visited a local animal rescue.

We stopped at our local park by the river
and were surprised to find the cutest little free library there.

"Take a book... leave a book."
What a lovely idea!

Our weekend was non-stop action... and tons of fun.

This week is a memorial golf outing and picnic in memory of
Jack's dad who passed recently.
We are not big on funerals, but rather prefer to celebrate a life.
Tuesday would have been his birthday, so we will gather to honor him on that day.

As a result, I will need to take a few days off from the blog,
but will be back later this week.

I hope your days are filled...
